When Red Card won the Agatha Award for Best Children's/Young Adult Mystery in 2003, Matthew was
just fifteen years old, making him the youngest recipient in the history of the award. He has played
many years of select soccer and has often been the pitcher for his All-Star baseball team. Matthew is
the lead singer/songwriter/guitarist of the band, Losing Tomorrow.
